Kids Connect to be Spiritual Champions

A ministry to the children of Anastasis Fellowship Church

What is a Spiritual Champion?

  • Have embraced Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
  • Accept the Bible as truth and as the guide for life.
  • Seek to live in obedience to the Bible’s principles.
  • Are in search of ways to continually deepen their relationship with God.
  • Possess a biblical worldview that shapes their decision-making process.
  • Contend there are moral absolutes that are relevant to our lives.
  • Contend there are consequences to compromising these moral absolutes.
  • Believe they have been created by God to serve Him in specifi c ways.
  • Acknowledge the continual spiritual war between God and Satan, in which both supernatural powers can infl uence their choices.
  • Believe their lives should reflect the character of God.
  • Donate unusually generous amounts of time and money to spiritually-driven causes.
  • Carefully screen the media they ingest (music, TV, movies, games). –Have a deep and intense commitment to their relationship to God and other Christians.
  • Strive to change the world in small but lifeimpacting ways on a daily basis.
  • Lead a revolutionary existence.

Without a doubt, their lives are the product of unusal but intentional preparation.

Kids Connect
Spiritual Champions explanation
Bible Story cloth

Can I be a missionary, too?

At Anastasis Fellowship Church, we believe kids can do ministry, too! Using a Bible story cloth that missionaries use, the children are taught key stories from the Bible every week. They also pray for a different people group all over the world, looking at maps to see where the people live and learning facts about their challenges. Our goal is to raise up not only spiritual champions, but also missionaries, church leaders, worship leaders, and change agents in the world!

I love you from the kids
